Both stores I called before and after this one said something along the lines of "yes, we can certainly do this. The fee from our jeweler is X amount and it can be done anytime during business hours."
Have had him repair several pieces of jewelry and he always gets the job done right!
I called Douglas R. Harris inquiring about it and the woman who answered was EXTREMELY rude to me. She went on a rant saying that this was the best jewelry store in town and that they didn't get there by giving anything away for free (mind you, I never asked for anything free). Literally at one point she said "what is in it for me if I did this?" I honestly didn't even know how to answer that question...like maybe a paycheck for doing your job?
Just based off this phone call I would highly recommend for someone to go to literally any other jewelry store.
