So we are stuck with GFMC. They are slow to return calls and appointments run very long. I will however, say that once you get to a doctor, the quality of care seems pretty good. The facility appears to be well maintained.

I personally wouldn't use this organization unless they were the only health care option available. Which was, unfortunately, the case. My elderly mom, who moved to Gastonia after she was already in her 80s doesn't have a lot health care options. Most private practices don't want anymore seniors because medicare doesn't pay well.
Not the place you want to go to if you want something done. You can never speak to a live individual always a messenger. Given 2 different results within 10 minutes after speaking with two different people, one saying the results aren't back, it takes 3 days and the other saying it's done in house and it's all ok.....when you know it's not all ok and something isn't right!!! SMH

Long Wait time on phone for an appointment. Long wait to be seen. poorly run! Management needs to be replaced with people that care.
I had gotten turned away a total of two times. The second time was because I was fifteen minutes late. Thus I rescheduled and when I showed up for rescheduled appointment on time, I waited over an hour to be seen. I have dealt with nothing, but rude and inconsiderate staff. Defiantly worth finding a new place.
YOU PEOPLE ARE A FREAKING JOKE!!!! I have asked REPEATEDLY 6 YES 6 DIFFERENT TIMES FOR A NEW PERSCRIPTION FOR A MEDICINE I MUST HAVE. You guys keep on saying we will get your records AGAIN 6 DIFFERENT TIMES. I call my previous provider and SURPRISE SURPISE NO ONE FROM THIS OFFICE HAS REQUESTED IT.
