I wanted to give it a try. After all coming from Jersey, Denny' s was a favorite in my younger years. The service was ok. The place was pretty empty at 5:00 on a Sun. They do offer a Vegan dish so that was great and a plus. The down side, the food to all of us was served between cold and warm. It was cooked, but certainly not hot when served. My husband was not impressed. He will not be backed unless the business can improve. My daughter's French toast was not cooked all the way either. Oh well !
I just wanted to share this WOW experience with Denny's and the TO-GO Service. Ordered a to go order at 9:05. It was finally ready for pick up at 10:05. When the staff went to bag our to go order there were no to go bags. They put our TO-GO food in a TRASH BAG. Yes a CLEAR TRASH BAG! After driving back 10 mins to eat our breakfast multiple things were wrong with the order. No Syrup for pancakes. No Toast and no Bacon was in the order for 4 people. Not only was this a poor experience but very bad. I will take my business somewhere that has the proper stuff for paying customers as well as getting the order correct. I paid $10.61 for pancakes, hash browns, eggs, bacon, ham, drink and toast to only get pancakes, eggs and hash browns. Pretty good service there folks.
Sadly poor service. I'm not sure why. They need to hire new staff. Waiting on typical dining food shouldn't take as long as it does.
If I could rate lower then one star I would! Seated immediately. Waited 10-15 mins and No one ever came to the table. Hostess kept seating other people even though clearly the wait staff can’t handle the tables they have. Heard multiple people speaking about how long they’ve waited. This restaurant shouldn’t have replaced Applebee’s (that’s saying a lot). If you don’t have the staff to cover the floor then stop seating people. Just be honest and say there’s a wait! Will not be going back. Save your time and money.
I read the reviews before entering the restaurant. Done were good and done bad. As I entered on Sunday morning at 9:26am, I was seated immediately. My waitress, Sierra H. was serving food to another table told me that she'll be right with me. After cleaning off another table, she came to my table to ask for my drink. Since I had time to look at the menu, I already knew what I wanted. I ordered egg whites, pork bacon, hashbrowns, and wheat pancakes. The food was awesome and quite delicious. I had never had wheat pancakes or egg whites. Even though the food was scrumptious, the service could be a little better. The hostess and servers seem like they were afraid to talk and be personable with the guests. They were nice but seemed new to serving. Within a few months, they should be better. It just takes a little time. The manager also came to visit to assure that everything was good. He seemed knew as well. I'll return just to see the progress of the staff, food, and service.
