Great place wish they delivered would order it weekly but I am just out of range so rarely go over.
For anyone who grew up around New York this place definitely doesnt make New York style pizza. Pizzas are always a bit spongy because they are cooked on a conveyor belt oven. On the plus side, the pizza sauce does have flavor.
Friendly service, large choice of drinks. My only gripe is that I had to wait a long time for my order. It didn't seem like that was a regular occurrence though. I'd still go back.
Havent ate at here since the 2nd change in owners but figured it would be alright. We had a large pizza (takeout), there is a huge difference between the old owner and the new owners. The pizza was not good at all, i really miss the old owner, his pizza was the best and these people are over charging for pizza that is not even worth the trip. The pizza is smaller than it used to be and it taste nothing like Sal's pizzas used to tase, had little to no crust...just a huge disappointment. I have been eating sals since 2009-2010, and these new owners clearly dont know what they are doing.
I have also tried their sandwiches and pasta dishes. Food is usually tasty but never come with enough meat or pasta in them. Don't expect to get full if your really hungry. The previous owner always made sure the dishes were filling.
Best marinara and pizza sauce I've ever had. It's liquid gold. Really great pizza. The staff is great too. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into everything being made. I can't wait to eat my way through this menu!
