Finance manager added on products and services that I specifically declined. He lied and said near the end of the process that he was going to give me key insurance - implying that it would be a complimentary add on. I didn’t catch the add ons until I got home. He decided to charge me an additional $400 so he could get his hands in the deal...the sad thing is I didn’t catch it and signed the paperwork. But when you very clearly decline all warranties and service options, it seems like you should not have to check line for line to make sure you weren’t just disregarded, lied to, and charged for items you did not purchase. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint, but it won’t go anywhere because dealerships have a billions of dollars lobby with state governments to keep these deals as unwholesome and predatory as possible. There are good people in the car industry whom you can trust doing business with. However - from the multiple sales reps who misrepresented the price over the phone before I drove two hours, to the crooked finance manager who decided to literally steal $400 from me by tacking on services that I declined multiple times very clearly, these guys are not good people. They’re running an unregulated racket on the citizens of their community. And that is speaking clearly. THIEFS

I went to Gastonia Nissan just to "look" not to buy a car. We were greeted by Jerome Moody and he was great, very polite and easy to talk to. The SUV I went there to look at happened to be in Columbia, which was not an issue at all. Mr. Randolph and Jerome took great care of me. There guys were my second car purchase, but the first time with them. They were insanely fantastic. Larry helped me out and he was friendly and welcoming from the get go. He shared my enthusiasm for my new car, and made the process as easy as possible, and suggested a car for my needs, and I ended up liking the car he recommended better than the car I went there for.
