Crowders Mountain State Park Visitors Center is well takin care of. They have a very informative exhibit room and clean restrooms. When we went there was a festival going on and parking was a bear. I’m told that it is always full.
We did the Pinnacle Trail from the visitor center to The Pinnacle (strenuous 2 mile). The view from The Pinnacle is breath taking and well worth the hike. From there we started back on Pinnacle Trail & then took a right on the Turnback Trail (moderate 1.2 miles) back to the visitor center.
Form here you have access to: 2 easy loop trails 0.8 miles each, 6 moderate trails from 1 mile to 6.2 miles one-way each, and 4 strenuous trails from 0.8 mile to 2 miles one-way each.
