I really like shopping here. The variety is great. I love the vast cheese selections. Vegetables and fruits are always fresh and high quality. The service is good as well, if you can't locate an item they actually help you find it. Did I mention the prices? Lower than Aldi or Wal-Mart and better quality. You have to take your own bags but no big deal! I view this as being environmentally friendly and pro-recycling.
Great place to go to if you like to save money on buying food. The parking lot has handicapped parking. The employees are helpful and nice. The store is very clean and it's easy to get walk around. It is one of the best grocery stors that I have been to.
Not so much...
They have cheap eggs (which makes me a little suspicious) and some interesting specialty items you won't find in other stores due to it's foreign origin, but that's pretty much it. Don't get too hooked on a specialty item, by the way. They tend to disappear and always seem to be "on order"
Lidl is my main grocery store now. I was so tired of going to giant stores and getting way too much because there was too much of everything and I never knew what to pick. At this place, you can find everything you need plus a little extra. That's how it should be. Say goodbye to truckloads full of impulse purchases. They also try to keep items that are moderately healthy for a fair price. The only thing I don't like is that they do not provide free bags. This can upset first time customers that do not expect it and it can also appear as greedy. That's really the only thing I don't like. They also have free WiFi and a modern trendy store atmosphere.
Very clean and environmental friendly store. I love their produce section, the produce person there mentioned that they restock daily on their produce so it is guarenteed "Fresh." Floor associates are not very friendly, I am used to someone asking if I need help with anything. You don't get that here. You are pretty much on your own. The cashiers are also not friendly, they rush you on to quickly bag up your things and send you on your way. I always feel rushed at checkout. Overall the store is my go-to, I took off a star for the non-existent friendliness of the cashiers and floor associates. I commend the produce guys, every time I visit the produce section, the guys there are always very nice and always helpful.
The only reason for my three stars is their wine selection. I must say that they do stock some pretty good wines for under $10. I will buy wine and eggs (maybe) here, but will continue to shop elsewhere for my other items. Besides, their presence will drive down prices at my normal go-to grocery spot.
It's a pretty store and has some nice features if you're into the bakery, but you can find better prices for the majority of their items elsewhere. T
