Furniture has 4 places where cloth separating on couch cushions like where you sit down and slide back in cushion after 4 months, and recliner has two tiny places where stuffing coming out of arm, so I call the warranty company and they ask me what happened. When I told them I didn't know, they said if I didn't know exactly what happened the warranty was NO GOOD!! What kind of warranty is this? Nobody said anything about this to me. So I have to sit and watch my furniture and see if anything happens to it? This is false advertising! NEVER EVER buy the warranty. Unless you drop a cigarette and burn a whole in it, or punch a whole in it with a knife "accidentally", you can't use the warranty. What a rip off! They said it had to be an accident to cover the warranty. So if their furniture isn't worth a s**t, like mine isn't since it is tearing up after 4 months ( and I am 55 years old and live by myself, so its not like I'm very hard on my furniture), then you are just wasting your money on their furniture and their warranty. Think twice people. If you have kids and you don't see them do anything to furniture, you can't claim it. You have to SEE it done to it! Think long and hard before buying this cheap furniture from Big Lots. Wish I had known before I had bought it....
I love Big Lots... I went for a return today and a cashier name Jason (big fella) made my experience very easy and pleasant. Thanks Jason and thanks to the other lady which I think was the store manager. Your getting 5 stars!
Pretty good experience. Was looking for living room furniture and employee very friendly and helpful. Was patient with me wanting to know if different items were in stock. Finally picked out what I wanted and she explained the extra warranty they offered. I bought a couch, recliner, and 3 piece table set and they had a 3 year warranty for all of items for only $90.00!! It covers burns, tears, seams coming apart, etc. So I have to say they offer an excellent warranty for a great price!
